Women's Song Circles

Singing together in community is one of my greatest joys. In my women’s song circles, we use the voice to tap into our ancient, innate power, wisdom, and presence.
We sing simple, powerful songs that honor and awaken the sacred feminine within. The songs are taught in a call-and-response style, making it easy to follow along and learn. We sing all together, there are no solos or being singled out. This is also not a space for perfection, and all voices and levels are welcome. You do not have to be a professional singer to attend! This is a place to let go, play, connect, and feel the resonance of singing in community.
I like to call the songs we sing “medicine songs.” They are simple and uplifting, and I often find myself singing them when the going gets rough. Looking around and seeing the women in the circle drop into presence, wrapped in the resonance of their sisters’ voices, is one of my favorite things. Singing with others awakens and heals us, strengthens the bonds between us, and offers a doorway to connection with ourselves and the sisters around us.

We sing songs that celebrate the womb, menstruation, sacred cycles, pregnancy and birth, motherhood, and the many transitions that mark the journey of womanhood. All who join are invited to show up in reverence for this lineage and the healing it holds.
Because these topics are so specific, this song circle is for women—wombkeepers in all phases of life, whether bleeding, cycling, post-menopausal, or on any unique path of womanhood. Non-binary wombkeepers who feel called to connect with their feminine energy are welcome here. This is a space that honors the wisdom of the womb and the sacred power of the feminine.
I currently lead a monthly song circle at Art & Soul. See upcoming events here.
